Fremantle Detectives are appealing for witnesses to a robbery that occurred in Kardinya on Australia Day, Tuesday 26 January 2021.
Around 8pm the victim, a woman in her 80s, was in the carpark of a shopping centre, situated on the corner of South Street near North Lake Road, when a man pulled her brown handbag from her shoulder and causing her to fall heavily to the ground.
The man took her bag and ran to a light coloured hatch back vehicle and left the scene.
The victim suffered a cut to her nose from her eyeglasses and abrasions.
Detectives would like to speak to anyone who witnessed the robbery, particularly two people who were at a bus stop nearby.
