Kirkham Street makeover means smoother travel

Wingecarribee Shire

Next week we're starting on the $1.69 million reconstruction of Kirkham Street in Moss Vale.

Works will involve renewing 300 metres of road pavement between Elizabeth and Mack Streets, constructing a new roundabout at the intersection of the two roads, installing new stormwater pipes and laying fresh kerbing and guttering.

"We'll be keeping the road open during construction to minimise any inconvenience for motorists, though they may experience some minor delays," said Council's Project Manager, Sandeep Chand.

The bulk of work will be undertaken on weekdays, and we expect the upgrade to be finished by mid-May.
