Victoria's health system is one of the best in the world - and it's thanks to our incredible health workforce.
They do some of the most important work in our state, caring for Victorians around the clock.
It's why we're proud to deliver a fair deal to members of the Health Services Union Victoria No. 4 that recognises their skill and expertise.
The agreement includes:
- A 28 per cent pay rise over three and a half years
- A one-off payment of $1,500
- $3,500 per worker each year for professional development
- Better classification structures and clearer career progression
- Five days of paid reproductive health leave each year
- A range of other improved conditions.
The agreement covers medical scientists, hospital pharmacists, psychologists, dietitians, medical physicists, genetic counsellors, perfusionists and audiologists.
When we back our health workers, we deliver better care for every Victorian.
As stated by Minister for Health Ingrid Stitt
"We're proud to deliver our workforce better pay and improved conditions - it is what they deserve."
"This deal is a win for all Victorians who rely on their expertise and dedication every day."
