Lace up for Campbelltown City Challenge Walk

The scenic surrounds of the Australian Botanic Garden Mount Annan will once again be the venue for the Campbelltown City Challenge Walk on Sunday 13 March, celebrating 30 years of this popular event.

Walkers can register solo or in a group for the 6km or 11km course, with the first walk starting from 8am.

"The Challenge Walk has become a tradition for many people in our community over the 30 years it has been held at the Australian Botanic Garden Mount Annan," Mayor George Greiss said.

"After poor weather and COVID forced the cancellation of our last two events, it's exciting to be back again and I hope to see people enjoy some exercise while taking in the views the course offers across the different sections of the gardens," he said.

"We ask that anyone who enters remains mindful of the current COVID-situation and other people by adhering to the health guidelines on the day so that everyone can enjoy participating in the walk."

To ensure the event is run in a COVID-safe manner, no stage presentation will be held and there will be no baggage area or child minding service available.

Registrations are now open and are $17 online before the event or $27 on the day using EFTPOS.
