Last chance to turn your ideas for change into reality and win thousands of pounds

The deadline is approaching for you to enter the Ingenuity Programme, which could see you earn thousands of pounds to help turn your ideas for change into businesses that create a real impact on society and the environment.

Co-hosted by the University of Portsmouth and the University of Nottingham, the programme invests more than £400,000 in new groundbreaking business ideas that affect different areas of our lives, such as community, health and climate change. And your idea could be the next investment!

Need some inspiration?

Previous participants from Portsmouth have helped inspire older adults to move more and help tackle social isolation using virtual personalised group exercise or created an app that can 'talk' to patients with deep vein thrombosis and help them manage their condition.

Wireless Wild (pictured above), a team of Engineering students and graduates from the University, invented Wild Lens, a device used by farmers, landowners and property developers that measures the positive and negative influence of different actions on natural ecosystems. The funding from the Ingenuity programme allowed them to prototype and build more devices to test in the field to progress and develop their product.

It's your turn - but be quick!

Do you have an idea that could drive change in your community? Sign up to the Ingenuity Programme before Wednesday 2 February and turn your ideas for change into a business that creates impact. The programme is open to everyone, no matter your background or experience, and you can find out more at ingenuityimpact.org.
