Leaders Unite at Forum to Tackle Housing Crisis

To inspire meaningful collaboration to address the housing crisis, the University of Newcastle will bring together key players from government, industry, academia and community groups to discuss challenges and potential solutions.

The Built Environment Research Forum provides a platform to explore innovative approaches, technologies, research findings and best practices, to create a sustainable and affordable future for housing and the built environment in NSW.

This forum will delve into advanced construction technologies, the use of sustainable and innovative materials, policy reforms and collaboration to drive housing development and affordability. It will also highlight the University of Newcastle's latest research and innovations addressing the regional housing affordability challenges.

The Hon. Rose Jackson MLC, Minister for Housing, Minister for Homelessness, Minister for Mental Health, Minister for Youth and Minister for the North Coast and Mr James Sherrard the NSW Building Commissioner will keynote the event.
