Lisa Zembrodt has been appointed Principal and Senior Director, Sustainability Business across the Pacific Zone for Schneider Electric, to head a major expansion of services assisting business meet energy transition and decarbonisation goals.
Schneider Electric, a leader in the digital transformation of energy management and automation, was recognized as the world's most sustainable corporation in 2021 by the Corporate Knights Global 100 Index. It is continuing to expand its global sustainability consulting business in response to increasing demands from organisations seeking to make meaningful progress on their energy transition and decarbonization goals.
Sustainability Business's consulting services will play a key role in ensuring companies successfully transition to the low-carbon economy, creating efficiencies and long-term financial viability.
Lisa will lead a team of consultants advising and assisting corporations and government on reducing emissions and increasing energy efficiencies through technological and operational changes, helping set and implement sustainability strategies.
"I want to amplify the impact of Schneider Electric's sustainability knowledge," Lisa said. "The more companies decarbonise, the quicker we will reduce the physical and catastrophic impact and risks of climate change, not just in Australia, but globally."
Schneider Electric Pacific Zone President Gareth O'Reilly said Lisa's appointment recognised the key role she had already played in assisting leading corporations to achieve sustainable transformation.

The expansion of Sustainability Business in Australia and the wider Pacific Zone will contribute to the global doubling of the company's consulting practice and include new services and digital solutions across sustainability strategy, climate action and risk management, ESG reporting and materiality, supply chain decarbonisation, climate risk assessment services and climate action plan development.

Lisa has emerged as one of Australia's leading voices on the energy markets and the energy transition, recently featured in ABC television's energy crisis special and regularly quoted across major media outlets.
Over 16 years with Schneider Electric, Lisa has helped global and national corporations craft and implement holistic energy strategies, enabling emissions reductions and optimising financial outcomes. She advises some of Australia's largest energy users on energy markets, energy supply contracts and renewable energy strategies.
Lisa is also the treasurer and a non-executive director of the Energy Users Association of Australia and holds a Sustainability and Climate Risk Certificate from GARP.
