The Barrington Coast was well represented at the 2026 North Coast Regional Tourism Awards last night, with local operators bringing home two Gold, two Silver and two Bronze awards.
MidCoast Council Mayor Claire Pontin said it was a fantastic result for the region's tourism industry and valuable recognition for the operators who work hard to create memorable visitor experiences across the MidCoast.
"Gloucester had another particularly strong showing, with local businesses recognised at every award level. This follows Gloucester's Silver award in the Small Tourism Town category earlier this year."
