Logan Reserve man charged with GBH offence

A man has been charged following the alleged serious assault (domestic violence offence) of another man in Logan Reserve last night, Thursday April 13.

Shortly before midnight, police were called to Fleming Street following reports a man had been seriously injured.

Initial investigations indicate a verbal altercation has occurred between two men who are known to each other and who are both aged thirty-nine and from Logan Reserve.

Detectives will allege the altercation became physical, with one man stabbing the other in the chest.

The victim sustained serious injuries and was transported to Princess Alexandra Hospital where his condition remains unchanged.

 The other man was charged with one count of Acts intended to cause Grievous Bodily Harm (domestic violence offence) and appeared in Richlands Magistrates Court today after police refused his bail.
