Our engagement with the Business2Schools charity resulted in 97 securely wiped laptops being donated with a substantial proportion of them going to benefit over 500 children at Southway Primary School in Bognor Regis. The school is now on track to achieve some of the best end of key stage two data and pupil's engagement rates with the learning software have jumped from 19% to 65% in one year.
Louise Dyche, Magnox asset disposal manager, commented: "This is a remarkable success for Magnox in terms of our own sustainability goals and the collaboration between the asset management and IT teams. We identified re-useable laptops and made them compliant for re-use to support Business 2 Schools in their mission to ensure all children have the opportunity to learn using technology."
