Maintenance work to improve conditions along Olympic Highway

Motorists are advised of changed traffic conditions next month on the Olympic Highway near Wagga Wagga, for maintenance work to be carried out.

Single lane closures will be in place for road surface resealing along sections of highway near Uranquinty, Wallacetown and Wagga Wagga, to provide a safer road for motorists.

Work will be carried out between 6am and 6pm from Monday 6 January to Saturday 11 January, weather permitting, north of Uranquinty between Burkes Creek Road and Old Station Road, between Sturt Highway and Camp Access Road at Wagga Wagga, and between Shepherds Siding Road and Harefield Road at Wallacetown.

Traffic control and a reduced speed limits will be in place for the safety of workers and motorists.

Motorists are advised to drive to the conditions, and follow the directions of signs and traffic control.
