Following an alleged road rage incident about 2.35pm yesterday on Algona Road, Kingston, a 47-year-old man from Kingston was taken into custody and detained whilst further investigations were conducted.
He was subsequently charged with dangerous driving, common assault, and failing to remain at the scene.
He was detained overnight to appear in the Hobart Magistrates Court today.
The victim in this matter sustained minor injuries and received medical attention.
Investigations are continuing and anyone who witnessed the incident, or who has dashcam footage of vehicles involved travelling on Algona Road, Kingston, or in the Scarborough Road area around the time, is asked to contact police on 131 444 and quote ESCAD 215-06082026.
