Man Charged Over Narellan Domestic Violence Incident

A man will face court tomorrow, charged with domestic violence, firearm and drug offences in Sydney's south-west.

About 8.45am today (Thursday 22 February 2024), police were called to Hovell Street, Narellan, following reports of a domestic violence incident.

It was alleged that a 34-year-old man was threatening two women - aged 57 and 32 - both known to the man.

Officers attached to Camden Police Area Command established a perimeter, with additional specialist police resources from the Negotiation Unit and the Tactical Operations Unit called to assist.

A short time after the commencement of negotiations, all three left the premises.

The two women were not injured.

The man was arrested and taken to Narellan Police Station.

He has now been charged with stalk/intimidate intend fear physical etc harm (domestic), possess unauthorised firearm, cultivate prohibited plant.

He was refused bail to appear at Picton Local Court tomorrow (Friday 23 February 2024).
