Man charged, quantity of cannabis plants seized - Camden PAC

A man will face court for cultivating prohibited plants in Sydney's south-west.

Earlier this month, officers attached to Camden Police Area Command commenced an investigation into the cultivation of cannabis in the Narellan area.

Following inquiries, officers executed a search warrant at a property on Doncaster Avenue, Narellan, about 6.30am on Thursday (19 October 2023), after they arrested the 41-year-old man at the scene a short time prior.

During the search warrant, police seized a total of 368 cannabis plants along with cultivation equipment including ventilation fans, LED heat lamps, indoor thermometers.

The 41-year-old man was taken to Narellan Police Station where he was charged with knowingly take part-cultivate more than or equal to large commercial quantity prohibited plant, divert/use electricity for generating etc system without authority, found on/entering/leaving drug premises.

He was refused bail to appear at Campbelltown Local Court in December (Wednesday 13 December 2023).
