Glen Waverley police with the assistance of Divisional Sex Offender Squad detectives have charged a man over an alleged explicit sexual act in Glen Waverley last month.
Police were told a 16-year-old girl was walking along Mandowie Road when she saw a man walking towards her about 4.10pm on Monday, 31 January.
The girl crossed the road and observed the man perform an allegedly explicit sexual act towards her while on the opposite side of the road.
Investigators attended a Burwood address yesterday and arrested a 57-year-old man.
He was charged with sexual activity directed at another and was bailed to appear before Ringwood Magistrates' Court on 6 July.
