A man has died following a crash on the Mid North Coast overnight.
About 11.25pm (Thursday 25 April 2025), police were called to Middleton Street, South Kempsey, following reports of a crash.
Officers attached to Mid North Coast Police District arrived to find Toyota Prado 4WD had crashed into a concrete culvert which caused the vehicle to roll and land on the offside on the roadway.
The driver – a 61-year-old man – died at the scene.
Police have established a crime scene and an investigation into the cause of the crash has commenced.
A report will be prepared for the Coroner.
