Nunawading Highway Patrol members are investigating a fatal collision in Templestowe this afternoon.
A vehicle and bus collided at the intersection of King Street and Fernbrook Way about 12pm.
The male vehicle driver, who was the sole occupant, died at the scene.
The male bus driver was taken to hospital with serious injuries.
Three passengers on the bus at the time of the collision sustained minor injuries that were treated at the scene.
The circumstances surrounding the collision are yet to be determined and police will prepare a report for the coroner.
