About 10.45pm, a white Toyota LandCruiser was travelling north on Tonkin Highway, and a white Toyota Hilux was travelling south on Tonkin Highway when they collided at the intersection of Mills Road West.
A 30-year-old female passenger of the Toyota Hilux sustained critical injuries and was conveyed to Royal Perth Hospital, where she later died.
The 33-year-old male driver of the Toyota Hilux sustained serious injuries and was conveyed to Armadale Hospital for treatment.
The 38-year-old male driver of the Toyota LandCruiser was conveyed to Royal Perth Hospital for treatment.
