More than $825,000 in community grants open

More than $825,000 in grants will be available in the upcoming round of the City of Greater Geelong's 2020-21 Community Grants program.

The Council is proud to be investing more than $4.9 million in Community Grants in 2021-22, with the latest grants opening on Saturday 12 February 2022.

The grants range in value from $3000 to $10,000 across six different categories.

The upcoming round includes:

COVID-19 Arts, Culture and Heritage Recovery Grants

COVID-19 Community Recovery Grants

Community Events Quick Response Grants

Environmental Sustainability Grants

First Nations Cultural Heritage Grants

Neighbourhood Houses Grants

Applications close at 5.00pm on Monday 14 March 2022 for all grants, except for the First Nations Cultural Heritage grant which closes at 5pm on Monday 11 April 2022.

Community Events Quick Response Grants will remain open until 1 June unless funds are exhausted.
