Motorbike rider dies after crash at Blacktown

A man has died following a single-vehicle crash in Sydney’s west.

About 1pm today (Saturday 3 April 2021), emergency services were called to Chicago Avenue, Blacktown, after a motorcycle hit a parked truck.

The rider, a 57-year-old man, was treated at the scene by NSW Ambulance paramedics but died a short time later at Blacktown Hospital.

Officers from Blacktown Police Area Command established a crime scene and commenced an investigation.

Inquiries into the circumstances surrounding the crash are continuing.

A report will be prepared for the information of the Coroner.
