NRW marks two significant milestones - the 1967 Referendum and the 1992 High Court Mabo decision.
Minister for Aboriginal Affairs Steve Edgington said National Reconciliation Week highlighted the importance of recognising Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander culture, heritage and the ongoing contributions First Nations people make to the Territory and the nation.
"The Finocchiaro CLP Government is committed to working in partnership with Aboriginal communities and organisations and empowering the bush.
"National Reconciliation Week is about action, connection and learning. The NRW 2026 theme, All In, reinforces that reconciliation is not a spectator sport and we can all take our own action to make meaningful change.
"Attending NRW events is a meaningful way to learn about First Nations culture and celebrate their contribution to the Territory," Mr Edgington said.
There are events across the Territory, with a NRW morning tea in Katherine and a community movie night in Bulman and a family fun day at Casuarina Library.
A NRW Week BBQ will be held at Darwin's Raintree Park in the Mall on June 3. A detailed calendar of events is available here here.
