Launched today, a new online professional education hub from the American Heart Association delivers quality courses and training for health care professionals to help ensure they have the skills to follow the latest science-based guidelines and ultimately improve patient care and outcomes by getting the right care to the right patient at the right time.
Intelligo Professional Education Hub™, a science-based, online professional education hub for health care professionals provides continuing education tools and training resources curated by experts.
Within this innovative platform, the Association, a global force for healthier lives for all, applies its successful resuscitation, heart disease and stroke education models. New offerings will meet the needs of professionals where they are in their practice and development. Additional content includes new portfolios in telehealth and health equity. The new educational hub will be available first in the U.S. only with plans to expand to offer the content globally in 2023.
The Association's stroke curriculum enables health care professionals to maintain competency and learn the latest science to improve care and outcomes for stroke patients. New premium eLearning courses and certificate programs as part of the Association's acquisition of the American Board of Telehealth are designed to prepare health care professionals to treat patients remotely and provide best practices for telemedicine. Through a suite of courses, the Association's professional training prepares health care professionals to identify health disparities and integrate solutions that build health equity into clinical practice to better serve communities and patients.
The Intelligo hub complements existing educational programming from the American Heart Association, with the technological capacity to become the centralized learning platform for professionals and create a seamless learning experience.

Haas-Lucie Stern Endowed Chair in Cardiology, professor of medicine at the University of California at San Francisco, Admissions Dean for UCSF Medical School and director of the UCSF Center for the Study of Adversity and Cardiovascular Disease (NURTURE Center).

The Association is continuing to meet people where they are by providing both relevant and comprehensive online courses that can be accessed by providers anywhere at any time. The platform will host both free assets and purchased content as well as offer a subscription purchasing model for both individuals and institutions.
