North Perth fire investigation

Arson Squad detectives are investigating a suspicious fire that occurred in Angove Street, North Perth this morning, Thursday 14 May 2020.

It is believed the fire started around 3am at the rear of a motorcycle and accessories store. The fire spread causing damage to an adjacent homewares store. The damage bill is estimated at $300,000.

Two people were seen riding bicycles in nearby Woodville Street around the time of the fire and police are asking them to come forward as well as any members of the public who were driving in the area between 2.30am and 3.30am, who have dash-cam vision.

Rewards of up to $50,000 are available for information that leads to the identification and conviction of an arsonist.
