Now Open: Community Grants Program 2022/23

City of Port Phillip's Community Grants Program 2022/23 is now open for applications!

The grants are aimed to support eligible community groups and organisations to apply for funding to produce projects and programs that:

• identify and meet existing and emerging community needs

• strengthen capacity of local community groups, organisations, and networks

• promote and encourage social connection, and participation in community life

• address health and well-being inequities

• create initiatives that enable access and inclusion for diverse communities

• support sustainability initiatives and facilitate innovation

All applicants are strongly encouraged to attend a Community Grants Information Session and/or Grant Writing Workshop before applying for a Community Grant.

The information sessions will help applicants understand the Community Grants Program 2022/23 guidelines and application process. There is an online information session on Thursday, 21 July 2022 and an in-person session at St Kilda Town Hall on Tuesday, 2 August 2022.

The grant writing workshops will cover all aspects of grant writing from where to find grants, understanding the guidelines and selection criteria, working through an application and budget, and how to frame your project. You can register for an in-person grant writing workshop at St Kilda Town Hall on Tuesday, 26 July 2022. You can also register for an online grant-writing workshop, which will be held on Thursday, 4 August 2022.
