There are currently 68 COVID-19 cases being treated by NSW Health. This includes one person being treated in an intensive care unit, and that person does not require a ventilator.

In NSW, 2,685 people have recovered from COVID-19.

While there have been few cases recorded in the past 24 hours, the virus is likely circulating among people in the community with mild symptoms. As such, the risk of outbreaks and a resurgence of cases remains.

NSW Health is again urging anyone feeling unwell - even with the mildest of symptoms such as a runny nose or scratchy throat - to come forward and get tested, so cases in the community are identified as quickly as possible.

With further restrictions set to be lifted from tomorrow, it remains essential that everyone maintains social distancing of 1.5 metres and regularly washes their hands to minimise the risk of virus transmission between people. People who may show no obvious symptoms or have very mild symptoms can unwittingly pass it to others if they are incubating the infection.
