The 14th Bizad Charity Run on 13 Jan 2024 raised over S$550,000 for charity - one of the largest amounts ever raised in a single edition of the NUS Business School's annual flagship event.

Students, faculty and alumni ran side-by-side to support students in financial difficulties and give back to the community beyond NUS. The funds raised will be channelled to the NUS Business School Alumni (NUSBSA) Student Experience Fund, NUSBSA Bursary Fund and TOUCH Community Services.

This year's Bizad Charity Run was flagged off by Mr Edwin Tong, Minister for Culture, Community and Youth and Second Minister for Law. Thanking the organising committee for their efforts, he said: "It is encouraging to witness more youths getting involved in meaningful social causes. As future leaders of our country, they play an important role in shaping our society to be caring, confident and cohesive."

The NUS Bizad Charity Run has raised more than S$2.5 million over the past 14 years. Members of the public can visit this link to donate to the ongoing fundraising drive until 31 May 2024.
