OAS Council Marks Day of Remembrance for Slavery Victims

The Permanent Council of the Organization of American States (OAS) will hold a special meeting to commemorate International Day of Remembrance of the Victims of Slavery and the Transatlantic Slave Trade under the theme "Global freedom: Emancipate yourself from mental slavery," on Monday, March 25 at 10:00 EDT (14:00 GMT), in the Simon Bolivar room at OAS headquarters in Washington, D.C.
