The Permanent Council of the Organization of American States (OAS) will hold a regular meeting onWednesday, December 17 at 10:00 EST (15:00 GMT) in the Simón Bolívar Room at the OAS headquarters to discuss, among other topics:
• Thirty-ninth periodic report of the Secretary General to the Permanent Council on the OAS Mission to Support the Peace Process in Colombia
• Request for the establishment of a Special OAS Mission in Haiti
• 2026 electoral calendar in the Americas
• Presentation of a candidacy for the Inter-American Commission on Human Rights (IACHR)
