Homicide Squad detectives have charged a 35-year-old man in relation to the death of a 51-year-old Ocean Reef man, who was located deceased at his residence in Ocean Reef on Saturday 1 May 2021.
Just before 7:00pm police were called to a residence on Marina Boulevard, where the deceased man had been located by another resident of the house. Police and St John Ambulance personnel attended the scene and it was confirmed the man was deceased.
Yesterday, Sunday 2 May 2021, a 35-year-old Ocean Reef man, who is known to the victim, was arrested and his nearby Ocean Reef residence was searched, where several items of interest to the investigation were seized.
The 35-year-old man has been charged with Murder. He was refused bail and is due to appear in the Joondalup Magistrates Court today, Monday 3 May 2021.
