City of Ballarat Parks and Gardens staff have recovered one of two decorations (present boxes) disappointingly stolen on Monday night from the Christmas floral display on Victoria Street, Ballarat East.
Frosty the Snowman's hat and a small Christmas tree were also taken from the display overnight.
The City is asking residents to report any suspicious activity around its Christmas displays so that everyone can enjoy the colour and atmosphere they bring during the festive season.
