Open Banking gets new chairperson

The Open Banking Implementation Entity (OBIE), the body set up to oversee Open Banking in the UK, has appointed Marion King as its new Chair and Trustee.

Marion's appointment follows a robust recruitment process led by the Competition and Markets Authority (CMA). She will succeed Charlotte Crosswell on 1 February 2023, the current Chair and Trustee, who steps down on 31 January 2023 following her completion of her Trustee mandate.
