Passenger Severely Hurt in St George Crash

A man is in a critical condition following a crash in Sydney's south.

About 9.50pm yesterday (Friday 18 April 2025), emergency services responded to reports of a vehicle being located in Clarence Street, Rockdale, with extensive damage and three males at the scene.

NSW Ambulance paramedics treated the men who are alleged to be occupants of the vehicle.

Two of the passengers were taken to St George Hospital with one listed as being in a critical condition and the other as serious but stable.

The alleged driver who was uninjured was taken to the same hospital for mandatory testing.

All the males were aged 19-years-old.

Officers from St George Police Area Command established a crime scene that was examined by specialist police from the Crash Investigation Unit.

It will be alleged that the vehicle had been involved in a crash with a parked and unattended car along Railway Parade, Kogarah, about five minutes earlier where it drove from the scene without stopping.

As investigations continue police are urging anyone with information about the crash – or who may have any available dashcam/mobile phone footage – to contact Crime Stoppers on 1800 333 000.
