Peninsula mural wins bronze at 2022 Australian Street Art Awards

The recently completed mural in Hastings at Ritchies IGA on Salmon Street has been named as one of the best public art experiences in the nation.

'Painting Our Future' by renowned artist Julian Clavijo has won bronze for the 2022 Australian Street Art Awards' Best External Mural.

The Australian Street Art Awards, established in 2018, recognise destinations using public art to engage their community while also attracting visitors and boosting their economy.

The 40-meter thought-provoking and colourful mural was commissioned by Mornington Peninsula Shire to raise awareness and inspire community action on climate change.
