Perth's Memory Walk & Jog Event Delayed

Dementia Australia

Due the recent floodwaters in the Nullarbor preventing essential event equipment from reaching Perth, Dementia Australia has made the difficult decision to postpone Perth Memory Walk & Jog, originally scheduled for this Sunday 17 March.

Our goal for Memory Walk & Jog is to have a fun-filled and safe community event to support people impacted by dementia. Our number one priority is to ensure the safety of all participants, staff and volunteers. With the floodwaters making travel on the Eyre Highway unpredictable and more rain forecast, we are unable to transport the equipment needed to run a safe and successful event in Perth.

The decision to postpone has not been taken lightly and we are working to find a new event date that we hope to announce soon.
