Police appeal to locate missing man at Cowra

Police are appealing for public assistance to locate a man missing from Cowra.

Karl Blackmore, aged 80, was last spoken to by family on the morning of Sunday 27 March 2022 but has not contacted friends or family since.

Officers attached to Riverina Police District were contacted and commenced inquiries to locate him but have not been able to do so.

Police and family hold concerns for his welfare as this is out of character.

Mr Blackmore is described as Caucasian in appearance, about 165cm tall with a thin build, balding grey/brown hair and blue eyes. He also wears reading glasses.

It's believed he may be travelling to Canberra. He is known to frequent Canberra in the ACT, Cowra, Southern Highlands, and Vincentia in New South Wales, and Melbourne, Victoria.

Police believe he was in the Muttama/Burra Creek/Coolac area around 11am the day he was last heard from.
