Police appeal to locate missing man at Oxley

Police are appealing for public assistance to locate a man missing from the state's north east.

Gerard Johnston, aged 43, was last seen in the Gunnedah area on Monday (5 October 2020) and was reported missing when he failed to return home after work.

It's believed Mr Johnston was travelling south towards Tamworth.

He's described as being of Caucasian appearance, with a thin build, brown hair and unshaven facial hair.

Officers attached to Oxley Police District are appealing for public assistance and hold serious concerns for Mr Johnston's welfare.
