Police appeal to locate teenage girl missing from Sydney's Upper North Shore

Police are appealing for public assistance to locate a teenage girl missing from Sydney's Upper North Shore.

Elena Rostami, aged 15, was last seen on West Street, Crows Nest, about 2.45am on Friday 12 August 2022.

Officers attached to North Shore Police Area Command were notified she was missing and commenced inquiries to locate her.

Family and police hold concerns for her welfare due to her age.

Elena is described as being of Mediterranean/Middle Eastern appearance, about 160cm tall, of slim build with long dark hair and braces

She is known to frequent the Crows Nest and Marsfield areas and could be staying in the Bankstown area.
