Police are investigating the circumstances surrounding a fatal collision in Noble Park last night.
It is believed a man was struck by a car on Heatherton Road as he attempted to cross the road just after 8.30pm.
The driver of the vehicle involved stopped at the scene and assisted police with their enquiries.
Police and paramedics commenced CPR but the yet to be formally identified man died at the scene.
The exact circumstances surrounding the incident are being investigated.
