Major Crash Investigators are seeking information regarding a fatal crash in Capel yesterday afternoon, Sunday 1 November 2020.
About 3:05pm a grey Skoda Yeti was being driven north on Bussell Highway. At the same time a Toyota LandCruiser towing a caravan was being driven south on the same road. The two vehicles collided head-on near the intersection of Hutton Street.
The driver of the Skoda, a 36-year-old man, and his 31-year-old female passenger died at the scene.
The male driver of the Toyota LandCruiser was taken by St John Ambulance to Bunbury Regional Hospital. His female passenger was flown to Royal Perth Hospital by the RAC Rescue helicopter.
