Police charge man with obscene exposure - Dee Why

A man will face court after being charged with obscene exposure on Sydney's northern beaches.

About 12.45pm today (Tuesday 28 February 2023), officers from Northern Beaches Police Area Command were called to Dee Why Rock Pools, after reports a man was allegedly naked in front of young children and families.

Police attended the scene; however, the man left the area prior to their arrival.

Following inquiries, police attended a home in Dee Why and spoke with a 68-year-old man about 1.45pm.

The man was arrested and taken to Manly Police Station where inquires established that he was allegedly breaching bail conditions for an unrelated matter.

He was charged with wilful and obscene exposure in/near public place and breaching bail.

The man was refused bail to appear before Manly Local Court tomorrow (Wednesday 1 March 2023).
