Police investigate armed robbery at Annerley 7 December

Detectives from Dutton Park Criminal Investigation Branch (CIB) are investigating the armed robbery of an Annerley pharmacy on Sunday, December 4.

Initial investigations indicate at approximately 7.50pm, a group of approximately 7 persons have entered the Ipswich Road store armed with bats and machetes, taking a quantity of cash and prescription drugs.

The group left in two vehicles, a Mitsubishi Outlander stolen from Stafford on November 6 and a Kia Stonic stolen from Ellen Grove on November 30.

No one was physically injured during the incident.

The vehicles were located abandoned on Devreis Road at Pallara at approximately 10pm on December 4.

Investigations into the incident are ongoing. Anyone with information is urged to contact police.
