Police investigate Melbourne Central incident

Police from Transit Safety Division's Divisional Response Unit are appealing for public assistance to identify a man following an incident at Melbourne Central Railway Station.

It is believed the man attended the station about 8.25am on 21 January.

While waiting on platform 3, it is understood he interfered with a security camera.

The man then boarded a train and travelled to Flinders Street.

Investigators have released an image of a man they believe can assist with their enquiries.

He is perceived to be Caucasian in appearance and aged between 25 and 35 years old with a large build, dark brown hair and facial hair.

The man was wearing an untucked light blue collared shirt, black pants and bright red runners.
