Police have launched investigation into suspected human remains found at a unit block near Wollongong.
Officers were called to the property in Crana Place in Mangerton, close to Wollongong's CBD, 11.50pm on Thursday, NSW Police said in a press release.
A crime scene has been established and an investigation is now underway by Wollongong Detectives, assisted by investigators from the State Crime Command’s Homicide Squad.
Police have advised there may be some disruption for nearby residents while specialist officers process the scene.
