Police investigating wounding at Annerley

Police are appealing for information and dashcam footage after a man was stabbed multiple times in Annerley last night.

Preliminary investigations indicate at 11pm last night, a 39-year-old Camp Hill man was walking along Ipswich Road in Annerley when he was allegedly approached by a group of men.

The group and the man had a verbal altercation, before one person from the group is alleged to have stabbed the 39-year-old man multiple times in the lower body.

During the wounding, the group also stole the man's phone.

The man was able to walk to Annerley Police Station to raise the attention of emergency services.

He was transported to the Princess Alexandra Hospital where he remains in a serious but stable condition.

Detectives are appealing for anyone who may have information or dashcam footage of this incident to come forward.

Investigations are continuing.
