Police have charged a man over an alleged assault in Caboolture last night, 3 August.
It will be alleged at approximately 7.10pm, a man was creating a public nuisance outside a train station on Matthew Terrace when he approached a male bus driver and punched him, causing him to fall backwards and hit his head on the curb.
A 44-year-old Ningi man suffered head injuries and was taken to Caboolture Hospital for treatment.
A 43-year-old man was quickly located by police at the station and charged with one count each of assault occasioning bodily harm, commit public nuisance and obstruct police.
He is due to face Caboolture Magistrates Court today, 4 August.
