Police make arrests - Ram raids - Northern Suburbs

Northern Territory Police have arrested multiple people following three ram raids in the Northern Suburbs earlier this morning.

At 2:10am, police received reports of an unlawful entry and two stolen vehicles, a Prado and a Honda, from a residence on Progress Drive in Nightcliff.

The alleged offenders used the stolen vehicles in ram raids at a licenced business on Casuarina Drive, a shopping centre in Jingili and a shopping centre in Anula.

The Prado allegedly crashed into a stationary vehicle on Union Terrace and the occupants fled the scene before police arrival.

Police identified the stolen Honda, and at around 6:20am, the vehicle was successfully apprehended. Four male youths attempted to flee the scene and were arrested by police. They are expected to be charged later today.

Investigations remain ongoing to identify the remaining offenders. Anyone with information is urged to make contact on 131 444.
