A 36-year-old male senior constable from North Coast Region has been issued with a notice to appear in relation to alleged drink driving.
The member has been charged with driving whilst over the high alcohol limit, allegedly committed while off duty.
The member has been stood down from the Queensland Police Service and is expected to appear in the Brisbane Magistrates Court on May 6.
