Detectives are re-appealing for information into an armed robbery at South Grafton more than four years ago.
Officers from Coffs/Clarence Police District commenced an investigation after an elderly couple were allegedly threatened and robbed by three men in their Dobie Street home about 5am on Wednesday 30 November 2016.
The pair were not injured; however, cash and jewellery were stolen during the incident.
Following inquiries, police arrested a 23-year-old man at a Grafton facility on Tuesday 9 February 2021.
He was charged with robbery armed with an offensive weapon and take person in company with intent to commit serious indictable offence.
The man appeared at Grafton Local Court on Tuesday 4 May 2021 and has been remanded in custody to re-appear at the same court on Tuesday 6 July 2021.
As investigations continue, detectives would like to speak to two men they believe may assist with their inquiries.
The first man is described as being of Caucasian appearance, about 183cm tall and of thin build. He was wearing dark-coloured tracksuit pants and a grey or light-coloured hooded jumper, and joggers.
The second man is described as being about 170cm tall with a stocky build. He was wearing dark-coloured tracksuit pants and a jumper. They both had their faces covered.
Police are also appealing for anyone who saw a black 4WD parked in the vicinity of the Dobie and Clarence Street intersection on the morning of the incident or in the days leading up to Wednesday 30 November 2016.
Detectives are interested in speaking to anyone who was offered jewellery for purchase in the Grafton area around the time of the incident.
