Police responding to fatal motorcycle crash at Barrier

A man has died following a motorcycle crash in the state's west yesterday.

About 1.30pm (Sunday 23 October 2022), emergency services were called to Windomal Road, Balranald, after reports a passing motorist had driven upon a motorcycle crash.

The rider – a 66-year-old man – died at the scene.

Officers from Barrier Police District established a crime scene, which was examined by specialist forensic police.

An investigation into the circumstacnes surrounding the crash commenced.

A report will be prepared for the information of the Coroner.
