A woman has been air lifted to hospital with critical injuries after a two-vehicle traffic crash north east of Boonah this morning.
Preliminary inquiries indicate around 11am a Holden Barina was headed west on Boonah-Beaudesert Road at Wyaralong, when it has hit a guard rail before colliding with a 4WD headed in the opposite direction.
The driver and sole occupant of the Barina, a Stanthorpe woman in her sixties, was airlifted to the Princess Alexandra Hospital in a critical condition.
The driver of the 4WD was not physically injured.
Investigations are continuing.
